Digital foundations for customer pathways across multiple market segments

Redesigning Electric Era's website in 9 weeks

How we built 13+ pages, hybrid video production, and multi-vertical messaging to support a coordinated product launch, funding round, and strategic repositioning.
TIMELINE
9 weeks
Challenge
Website built for one product now needed to support a new product launch, company repositioning, and coordinated trade show deadline.
Impact
  • Synchronized launch across trade show, press, and digital channels
  • Clear product positioning that differentiated both products without overlap
  • Multi-stakeholder messaging for property managers, operations, marketing, and finance teams
  • Retail-first narrative established across four verticals
The Opportunity
Electric Era had built patented battery-backed EV charging technology with major retailers like Love's and Costco as customers. Now they were launching RetailEdge, a purpose-built retail experience station, and repositioning the company from charging infrastructure to retail technology platform.
With the trade show deadline weeks away and RetailEdge ready to debut, they needed a digital presence that could:
  • Reposition the company from charging infrastructure to retail technology platform
  • Position the new product alongside the existing one with clear differentiation
  • Speak to multiple buyer personas across property, operations, sustainability, marketing, and finance
  • Capture demand across four distinct retail verticals
  • Support funding conversations with a presence that matched their innovation
Without it, the launch momentum would point to a digital presence that hadn't caught up.

The Impact
The new website became Electric Era's primary tool for product launch, market positioning, and business development across retail segments.
  • Positioning clarity achieved:
Prospects now quickly understand what makes Electric Era different. The retail-first message lands before the first sales conversation.
  • Multi-stakeholder journeys created:
Different decision makers find their path through the site, each discovering value relevant to their role and buying criteria.
  • Launch coordination executed:
Website went live synchronized with press briefing, product unveiling, video launch, and PR distribution.
  • Growth foundation established
The team now has a launchpad for digital campaigns and 2026 growth goals, with a site that matches their ambition.

"We have pretty aggressive 2026 growth goals, and the website work we've done is really the foundation to jump in scale over the next year. Internally, people now think anything is possible on our website, because of how different it is in just a couple of months.”

How we delivered
We built a scalable multi-product, multi-vertical website system through strategic positioning and smart production decisions.
  • Multi-stakeholder architecture:
We designed 13+ pages that serve different decision-makers in the same organization. Product pages differentiate without overlap. Vertical pages let prospects see themselves immediately.
  • Hybrid visual production:
We combined 3D product renders with AI-generated retail environments to show the charger across four verticals without separate photoshoots. This let us iterate on visuals as the product design evolved.
  • Compressed timeline execution:
We delivered what typically takes 16-18 weeks in 9 weeks through early collaboration on copywriting and strategic phasing around funding constraints.
  • Handoff and ongoing support:
We built on Webflow with HubSpot integration so the team can update content, add pages, and manage leads without waiting on agency support.
