Reimagining the Carbon Ecosystem

Susteon is a technology incubator to mitigate the effects of climate change. They are enabling a holistic transition to low carbon solutions by developing and deploying decarbonization technologies at scale. Their expertise spans various areas, including carbon capture, hydrogen production, and CO₂ management. The goal was to have a fresh and modern look for the brand that speaks to the target audience and create a website to share the groundbreaking work that the team is doing to bring low carbon sustainable innovations to market.

Problem

Susteon's complex technologies and mission were not effectively communicated through their existing website. The technical nature of their work made it challenging to engage a broader audience, including potential investors and partners. The company needed a digital presence to clearly explain their role in combating climate change while highlighting their innovative solutions in an accessible manner.

Process

We kicked off the rebrand with a strategy workshop to gather information from the stakeholders to understand diverse perspectives. We then took the brief that came out of the workshop to create a the new logo, messaging tone and visual direction. We then focused on simplifying complex concepts through visuals, infographics, and concise content by developing multiple design iterations and incorporating feedback at each stage.

Solution

The redesigned website featured a clean, modern layout with a focus on visual storytelling. Key technologies were explained using interactive elements and simple animations. The website clearly communicated Susteon's mission and impact on climate change while emphasizing the credibility of the team. The new website significantly improved Susteon's online presence and increased engagement leading to a 30% higher applicants for career openings than previous roles.
